When it comes to changing your choice of flooring, carpet is generally cheaper, but other types of flooring are generally more hard-wearing and last longer.

No, vinyl flooring does not need underlay. So long as the floor you’re laying it on is flat, you can save money with vinyl flooring by not having to put down an underlay.

Premium vinyl flooring is superior to laminate flooring, although both have their place and space. If your space has only light traffic useage, then laminate can be a better option, but if it sees regular, heavier traffic, and is potentially exposed to moisture, then vinyl is the better option.
